The Chemistry Building at UC Davis provides laboratory, research, and office space for faculty in chemistry, chemical biology, and materials chemistry. Blending old and new expressions, the addition seamlessly integrates with the existing structure, symbolizing the continuous evolution of science and knowledge. Transparency throughout provides natural light and wide-spread views to further encourage interaction. The Chemistry Building acts as the new face and heart of the complex, providing enhanced meeting and research spaces, as well a CHEMLink lab—a customizable center for interdisciplinary research.
