Expo Point is a seven-story off-campus student apartment building, intended for students attending University of Southern California. Located in a dynamic environment across the street from BMO Stadium, the development looks to blend a variety of residential unit types and uses, while providing a myriad of private and public amenities with 16,000 SF of retail space, 14,000 SF of amenity space, 62 public parking spaces, and both long- and short-term public bike parking located across the site. With carefully designed lighting, well-located entries into retail spaces, and residential apartments looking down into the lively public plaza, the design reinforces visual and physical engagement of public spaces and green spaces by tenants and visitors. Solar panels are installed on the residential portion of the building’s roof, aiding in the project’s sustainability goals of being all-electric and LEED Silver achievable.
The top of the building culminates in a large indoor amenity space and outdoor pool deck, providing incredible views out over Exposition Park and the USC campus beyond.
