The Detroit Regional Chamber (DRC) is a non-profit organization connecting and supporting businesses throughout the Detroit area. With the way work has evolved, they were significantly impacted in how they deliver services to their members. The DRC and HED investigated and test planned several CBD Detroit area properties, prior to selecting their new home in the One Woodward Square building.
HED provided programming, design, documentation, and contract administration in architecture, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering professional services, as well as experiential graphic design to the new space. The DRC's new space offers a hospitality focused arrival café and multipurpose team presentation area, accommodating a variety of events and everyday team settings. Layered behind this grand space is their flexible staff work area, equipped with a variety of individual work settings and meeting spaces with large windows to take advantage of the views across the downtown skyline.
