Prior to joining HED, Robert acted as the Director of Design at Quattrocchi Kwok Architects in Oakland and Santa Rosa, CA; and as Design Manager with CallisonRTKL’s Seattle, WA, office where he led design teams by establishing initial exterior and interior design visions, identifying project goals, and guiding the project teams to realize aspirational, responsive, and sustainable building design solutions. An energetic advocate and leader in the Architectural community, Robert has served as AIA President at both the local and state levels, and he continues to sit on the Board of Directors for AIA Redwood Empire. As a further commitment to advancing the profession, Robert has shared his design knowledge through his teaching at the Boston Architectural College and University of Nevada Las Vegas.
